The maltodextrin word may seem scary! but the Organic Tapioca Maltodextrin we use is really just a natural ingredient derived from tapioca starch with natural enzyme processes. It is used to bind the seasoning to the puffs. The alternative was the corn maltodextrin widely used in cheese puffs, which is manufactured by using chemicals to break down the corn starch, making it a digestion resistant ingredient.

Yes! Natural Yeast Extract we use is a natural flavor ingredient and comes from a natural source – fresh yeast, so totally vegan!

Most conventional oils used to make cheese puffs are extracted through chemical or heat processes. The sunflower oil we use in our puffs is unrefined, unbleached, and most importantly, Cold-pressed. Cold-pressed sunflower oil made from Canadian-grown sunflower seeds that we use retains antioxidants and phytonutrients that are otherwise damaged when exposed to chemicals and heat.
